NEW LOCAL WEBSITE - KeyToAJ.com is a website that is FOR the community, ABOUT the community and BY the Community!
With the economy in a downward turn, local businesses have felt the crunch more than ever. In an effort to highlight the smaller businesses and encourage locals to “shop local”, KeyToAj.com website was created to encompass all area businesses.
KEY TO AJ.com is a website that promotes local businesses and their services. Paula Koszarek, creator of KEY TO AJ.com, understands and appreciates the small town feel that Apache Junction has and would like to help keep the independently owned businesses open and thriving! Since a lot of AJ residents are winter visitors, some of whom may be here for the first time, they may not know what local businesses exist and what they offer. They find themselves driving a distance to Signal Butte or Power Road. But money spent there doesn’t help our area. Those tax dollars go to Mesa, not to Apache Junction. Most would rather see their tax dollars help the city that they live in.
KEY TO AJ.com solves that problem by being a resource for all residents so that they can help support the local economy. Some of current links listed on the website are Auto, Restaurants, Events, Flower Shops, Equestrian, Handy Man Services, FREE Lost Pet & Item listing, Trails & Hiking, Veterinarians, Realty, Landscaping, Newspapers, Insurance, Music, Spas and Much More.
Cyndi Belart, a resident of Apache Junction has been helping to sell ads for KeyToAj.com and while doing so, has discovered places that she didn’t know existed. She was thrilled to find new places to shop for clothes, shoes, equestrian tack and more. And though her intention was to sell ads for the website, she found items in each of the businesses that she had to have and ended up BUYING too!
“It’s all about being exposed to new places,” says Cyndi, “that I find rewarding. I don’t have to go clear across town now that I know there are great places to shop right here in AJ. I just didn’t know they were here!”
In only ten days of operation, the website is already starting to get noticed. Advertisers like Western Lifestyle Realty, Just Fix It, Caring Critters, McDaid’s Handy man service, Potts Construction, Arizona Antique Shows, A Handyman to Have Around, The Views at Superstition, Fun N Jump and more have joined the website. It is important that all retailers and local businesses join in so that the website can become a valuable tool and resource for Apache Junction Residents.
KEY TO AJ welcomes any feedback and is very open to adding information provided. If you have lost an item or pet, KeyToAJ.com will post the information for FREE! After all it is a website FOR the community, ABOUT the community and BY the community. Ads cost only $50 PER YEAR and the website will highlight new advertisers in the “Featured Business” column and write about their services, special offers and sales.
