Halloween Cocktails


The swamps of the bayou can be one of the scariest places on earth - and this cocktail has that same mystery of what could possibly be waiting beneath that top layer of slime. It’s really a great drink, sort of a creamy Mojito.


  • 2 parts Cruzan Dark Rum
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 part Fee Brothers Spiced Cordial Syrup
  • 1 egg white 

Preparation: Muddle mint leaves and syrup together, making sure to crush the mint leaves. Place all ingredients into a shaker. Shake until well-chilled and frothy. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with additional crushed mint leaves.


Black is the signature color for All Hallows Eve so why not make your Martini match the occasion? If black raspberry or blackberry flavors are not your thing, try a regular Vodka Martini made with Blavod (a black vodka).


  • 3 1/2 oz gin or vodka
  • 1/2 oz blackberry brandy or black raspberry liqueur
  • lemon twist for garnish

Preparation: Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or serve on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.


Here’s a highball straight from Dracula’s lips to yours. The red and black layers re-create the frightening atmosphere of a castle deep in Transylvania. Smooth flavors of black cherry cola greet you and are accented with sweet grenadine that surges from the depths of the concoction.


  • 1 oz black cherry vodka
  • 1/2 oz grenadine
  • cola
  • maraschino cherries for garnish

Preparation: Coat the bottom of a highball glass with grenadine. Add ice and vodka. Fill with cola. Garnish with cherries.


Sorry, no blood in this Bloody-tini, but it does have a deep red hue that could make your Halloween guests wonder. It is actually very pleasant and light, making it an excellent and elegant cocktail for any affair.


  • 2 oz VeeV Acai Spirit
  • 1 oz acai juice
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • Top with fresh champagne
  • lime wedge for garnish

Preparation: Combine VeeV, Acai juice and fresh lime with fresh ice in a cocktail shaker and shake. Strain into a chilled martini glass and top with champagne. Serve with a fresh lime wedge.
