Accolades Abound at Verve Wellness Center amidst Massive Expansion
Founder of Verve Wellness Center, Dr. David Warkentin is not one to let grass grow under his feet. He is always on the move, treating his patients and looking out for others. Verve has just started a massive expansion at their location in Mesa on Baseline, west of Higley Road. If the accolades are any indication, the expansion is just what the doctor ordered!
The “East Valley Tribune” just bestowed the following awards on Verve Wellness Center:
- First Place, Chiropractor – Dr. David Warkentin
- First Place, Hospital/Medical Center – Verve Wellness Center
- First Place, Holistic Services – Verve Wellness Center
- First Place, Best Customer Service – Verve Wellness Center
“It’s seven years in a row, and my colleagues and patients vote,” states Dr. Warkentin of the awards Verve Wellness continues to win. “I’m fortunate they vote for us.” This is competition that includes Banner Baywood and Banner Health, so the competition is considerable.
A 20,000 square-foot expansion is currently underway at Verve Wellness Center. “We’re well into it right now,” explains Dr. Warkentin. “We’re adding 5,000 square feet of rehab. But it’s all professional athlete and Olympics-type gear. We’ll have the best rehab equipment that is used by NFL and Olympic athletes. We’ll be one of the only clinics in the Valley that has water treadmills.”
Surgical suites are being added as part of this expansion and Dr. Warkentin is also considering adding a pediatrics practice, although that is not yet confirmed. MRI, CT-Scan and ultrasoundservices will also be brought into the practice, making it one of the most comprehensive medical and wellness facilities in the entire Valley. Just imagine being able to see all your doctors on one convenient campus! The new facilities are estimated to be open to the public in August 2017
A Much-welcomed Medical Mission
As of this moment, Dr. Warkentin is on a medical mission. He will be in Morocco for a few days and then Gambia. On these medical missions, he and a team that includes nurses and assistants will treat some of the poorest people in the world. Sometimes illnesses are a simple and just need some attention and medicine and other conditions are more serious. Dr. Warkentin will be interviewing with Scottsdale.com next month to let us know about his trip and his team’s experience.
Verve Wellness Center has been an East Valley destination for those seeking expert and personalized medical care in a beautiful and upscale environment. In addition to chiropractic and massage treatments, patients will find doctors in family practice, internal medicine, interventional pain management, Chinese medicine, naturopathic medicine, general dental, cosmetic dental, oral surgery and endodontics and prosthodontics. In total, there are 14 doctors in various fields of healthcare and support staff, where “East meets West,” working in unison to better help the patients they treat.
Rounding out the Verve Wellness Center of services is a Class C surgical and pain center located on Broadway and Power in Mesa. Verve Wellness Center is located at 4824 E.
